ABOUT ME
I am an associate certified professional member, and state manager for QLD, of the Australian Library and Information Association (AALIA CP), and a current committee member of the Australasian Research Management Society (ARMS).
As outlined below I have completed both a BA (Hons) in Philosophy at an undergraduate level and a Master of Information Management.
Professionally, I have an extensive library and information science industry knowledge, project management, stakeholder engagement, communication, and critical thinking skillset.
I also have many years of retail management experience, previous to my move into the information sector, which required a customer-focused and client-centered approach to my work.
My research interests lie in library and information science (LIS), critical librarianship, strategic planning, futurism, scholarly publishing and communication, research management and philosophy.
There is also a charitable cause that is close to my heart. I founded and run a registered charity called The Sleigh Bell Foundation. This charity aims to provide support during the Christmas period for disadvantaged families on the Sunshine Coast, QLD (www.thesleighbellfoundation.com).
